You can give any card a try. If it doesn’t work, you can always try different ones. You can even use more than one card.

Aside from that, cards that can make online payments are most preferable.

Hi, sounds like you are trying to confirm a debit card. When we confirm a credit card, we make a charge to the card and leave a code. But with debit cards, we send 2 small amounts that combine as the code e.g. 05p and 12p will become the code 0512.

Once you have the details from your statement, you can then confirm your card by following these steps:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click ‘Confirm my debit or credit card’ in the ‘Notifications’ box.
3. Enter the required information.
4. Click ‘Submit’.
