St Augustine said, \u201cThe world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It would interest you to know that the chapter of this book called Ghana, has pages with beautiful characters to know about, of which tourist sites are prominent.<\/p>\n<p>In studying the colorful places of tourism in Ghana, her citizens can boast of both natural and artificial sites. Some substances of the tourism industry include waterfalls, castles, wildlife reserves, rocks, and vegetation, just to mention a few.<\/p>\n<div class=\"_EAm\">\n<div class=\"_Qzm\">\n<p>Now let us look at eight\u00a0tourist sites in Ghana that you may like to visit;<\/p>\n<h2>The Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10576\" src=\"https:\/\/websiteghana.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/kwame-nkrumah-mausoleum.jpg\" alt=\"kwame nkrumah mausoleum\" width=\"448\" height=\"299\" srcset=\"https:\/\/websiteghana.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/kwame-nkrumah-mausoleum.jpg 448w, https:\/\/websiteghana.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/kwame-nkrumah-mausoleum-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/websiteghana.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/kwame-nkrumah-mausoleum-440x294.jpg 440w, https:\/\/websiteghana.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/kwame-nkrumah-mausoleum-320x214.jpg 320w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 448px) 100vw, 448px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum and Memorial Park is a place of recollection and inspiration to the people of Ghana. It is dedicated to Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, the first president of the nation. It accommodates his body and that of his wife\u2019s, Fathia Nkrumah.<\/p>\n<p>The mausoleum is located in Accra, Ghana\u2019s capital. It is found opposite the Commission of Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), which is the old parliament house.<\/p>\n<p>The person behind the design of this structure is Don Arthur. The design represents a sword that has been turned upside down, which is a symbol of peace in the culture of Akans.<\/p>\n<p>On the park are fountains, statues of Kwame Nkrumah and beautiful peacocks moving about. There is also a museum which houses a collection of some belongings of Nkrumah. These include essential photographs of his lifetime, the smoke he wore while declaring the independence of Ghana, and many other things he used.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>The Mole National Park<\/h2>\n<div class=\"_DAm\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10577\" src=\"https:\/\/websiteghana.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/mole-national-park-1.jpg\" alt=\"mole national park\" width=\"448\" height=\"320\" srcset=\"https:\/\/websiteghana.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/mole-national-park-1.jpg 448w, https:\/\/websiteghana.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/mole-national-park-1-300x214.jpg 300w, https:\/\/websiteghana.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/mole-national-park-1-440x314.jpg 440w, https:\/\/websiteghana.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/mole-national-park-1-320x229.jpg 320w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 448px) 100vw, 448px\" \/><\/div>\n<div class=\"_DAm\">The Mole National Park has a Park, safari, game reserve, and elephants.<\/div>\n<div class=\"_BAm\">it is Ghana&#8217;s largest wildlife refuge. The park is located in northwest Ghana on grassland savanna and riparian ecosystems at an elevation of 150 m, with sharp escarpment forming.<\/div>\n<div class=\"_BAm\">There is a nice motel called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.molemotelgh.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Mole Motel<\/a> around where you can relax after the sightseeing.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"_BAm\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"_BAm\">\n<h2>Kakum National Park<\/h2>\n<div class=\"_Qzm\">The Kakum National Park is a rainforest reserve with a canopy walkway. The place is full of fun. If you haven&#8217;t been to a forest walkway, you would really love it.<\/div>\n<div class=\"_Qzm\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"_BAm\">The site is located in Cape Coast on the coast of southern Ghana. It protects an area of rainforest, home to endangered mammals. It is one of the places that marvel me yet I have never been there.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"_DAm\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"_DAm\">Nzulezu is a village near located about 90 kilometers\u00a0near Takoradi, the capital city of the Western Region of the country.<\/div>\n<div class=\"_DAm\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"_DAm\">What makes it a place to visit is that this village is located on a lake. All houses are being built on the lake. All activities that go on there are on the lake. The garden occupies an area of 64.8 hectares.
